Setup guide
Everything you need to connect your proxy. Replace the example values with the credentials from your dashboard.
Your credentials
Each proxy in your dashboard is shown in the standard format:
host:port:username:password
203.0.113.48:7085:USERNAME:PASSWORDThe same credentials work for HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5. Pick whichever protocol your tool supports.
Test from the command line
Both commands should print the proxy's IP address:
# HTTP / HTTPS
curl -x http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.48:7085 https://api.ipify.org
# SOCKS5 (DNS resolved through the proxy)
curl -x socks5h://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.48:7085 https://api.ipify.orgPython
import requests
proxy = "http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.48:7085"
r = requests.get("https://api.ipify.org", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=20)
print(r.text)
# SOCKS5: pip install "requests[socks]" and use
# proxy = "socks5h://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.48:7085"Node.js
// npm install undici
import { fetch, ProxyAgent } from "undici";
const agent = new ProxyAgent("http://USERNAME:PASSWORD@203.0.113.48:7085");
const res = await fetch("https://api.ipify.org", { dispatcher: agent });
console.log(await res.text());Antidetect browsers
AdsPower, Multilogin, GoLogin, Dolphin{Anty}, Incogniton and similar tools all have a proxy section in the browser profile settings:
- Open the profile and choose Proxy → Custom (sometimes called Manual).
- Select HTTP or SOCKS5.
- Paste the full
host:port:username:passwordline if the tool accepts it, or fill host, port, username and password separately. - Click Check proxy. The detected country should match the location you bought.
Use one IP per browser profile to keep each account's identity separate.
Regular browsers
Chrome and Edge use the operating system proxy settings, which don't store a password. The simplest option is a proxy extension such as SwitchyOmega: create a profile with protocol HTTP or SOCKS5, the host and port, then enter the username and password when the browser asks.
Troubleshooting
- Connection refused / timeout: check host and port, and make sure your network allows outbound connections on that port.
- 407 Proxy Authentication Required: the username or password is wrong — copy them again from the dashboard.
- Connecting from mainland China: the upstream network does not accept connections from mainland China. Connect from a server or device outside mainland China.
- Proxy stopped working: check the expiry date in your dashboard. Expired IPs are released and cannot be recovered.
